Aerial view of the Novartis Pavilion on the edge of the Basel campus

During Eurovision week, the Novartis Campus and the Novartis Pavillon will become a cultural hub, offering free public access, engaging experiences, and inspiring moments that connect science, music, and society.

The exhibition and event center is a publicly accessible place for encounter and represents our relationship with society in Switzerland, the population in Basel, and our direct neighbors. Its permanent Wonders of Medicine exhibition will be open free of charge throughout the week. Visitors can also experience a specially curated lounge area and literature collection exploring the link between music and science.

What’s happening at the Pavillon

  • May 13, from 6pm to 8pm: Music & Multiple Sclerosis – film screening and expert panel on music's therapeutic power
  • May 15, from 12pm to 1pm: Medical Innovation Meets Artistic Expression – turning protein sequences into music, with Novartis associates
  • Extended LED media façade shows on all ESC show nights, featuring exclusive visual art developed with a local art school

What’s happening at the Campus

  • May 13: Early Career Day – interactive workshops and career inspiration for young talent
  • Daily tours and open campus experiences for visitors to explore the architecture, ideas, and people behind Novartis

Whether you’re here for science, celebration, or both — the Pavillon is your place to pause, connect, and reimagine what’s possible.
